South Middle School

New six-lane tracks at North Middle School and South Middle School, along with a major field upgrade at North, will improve access, safety, and year-round use for students and community members.

This project is part of a multi-million-dollar investment made possible by the district’s 2023 debt restructuring plan, which freed up funding specifically for long-term facility improvements.

Every couple of years, we survey our staff, students, families, and community members on our current communication and engagement methods.

The Grants Pass School District School Board is considering the adoption of a English Language Development (ELD) curriculum for Kindergarten through 12th grade. The ELD curriculum is used for students whose first language is not English.

Materials can be previewed in person at the district office. After reviewing the recommended curriculum, please submit your comments no later than May 11, 2026.

Help us expand free early learning opportunities for Grants Pass families. Proceeds from our Tee Up for Early Learning Golf Scramble will support the opening of a second early learning site planned for the 2027–28 school year.
